Zafferano is an agritouristic restaurant of unique personality built atop an uncommon focus on quality, refinement, beauty and professionalism, all in a setting without equal in the whole world. Restaurant overlooking the towers of San Gimignano towards Volterra.

My passion for cooking is not a kid's dream but something I carried inside me since February 5, 1984. Why would I say that? Throughout my life, cooking has been my only fixation and desire. And whilst it took an herculean effort - and my fair share of sacrifice - to develop this passion, I must admit I had some fun along the way.

The Menu

The menu is changed at least three times in seven months to ensure the use of seasonal products.

To be sure, our guests don't come to satisfy their "hunger". For eating is a first and foremost pleasure, and our restaurant guests seek something different, something they would hardly taste at home. The Zafferano Restaurant by Casanova di Pescille is the right place for you.

We are open every day for dinner at our restaurant in San Gimignano.

  • Monday Sunday: 7.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Open at lunch for Easter, Monday of the Angel, 25 April, 1 May, Ferragosto.
